 What is Tackle Twill?

Tackle twill is the application of custom-cut twill lettering onto a garment. Any shape, letter, or design can be custom cut from a polyester twill material and sewn onto almost any garment for an extremely finished look. They are then stitched ar ound the edges using a zig zag or dotted stitch path so that they are permanently fixed to the garment. Tackle twill is a great option for greek organizations, school sweatshirts, sports jerseys, varsity jackets and more!

How durable is tackle twill?

Tackle twill is considered one of the most durable embroidery methods, since the main material is high-test polyester twill.  Because the lettering is stitched around the edges, the only way to remove it is with a pair of scissors and a lot of free time!  Your tackle twill logo will normally outlast the garment itself.

Can I choose a special font or design for my tackle twill order?

Yes. We can use almost any typeface, character, shape, or design to make your tackle twill logo. Simply let us know which font you are looking for when placing your order.

What is the average turnaround time for tackle twill orders?

Tackle twill takes a few more days than our other processes because of the time it takes to custom cut your design and then precisely line up the required stitch path for your design or letters.  Standard turnaround time is 12 to 15 business days for pre-cut designs, like greek letters or standard fonts.
